Accounts/ Customer Service Administrator

Wiser Recycling Ltd are one of Co. Cork's largest private wheelie bin collectors. Our goal is to constantly introduce new innovative standards and services to the community in Cork County and City, and West Waterford.

Due to continued growth and expansion we are looking for an Accounts/ Customer Service Administrator to join our expanding team in Midleton.

What does the job entail?

  • Maintain and update the status of accounts receivables and payables.
  • Take inbound/outbound, customer service calls/emails relater to a wide variety of inquiries including service changes, billing, cancellations, missed bins
  • Reconcile all bank accounts and resolve all issues in processing the financial statements
  • Set up new domestic clients
  • Communicate with the transportation managers regarding any service changes
  • Maintain an efficient and positive relationship with domestic customers
  • Manage domestic customer accounts related queries
  • Responsible to receive and verify bills and requisitions for goods and services.
  • Assist audit activities
  • Prepare, send and store the record of invoices on time.
  • Contact clients to update them about balance payments, collection changes.
  • Update internal accounting databases and spreadsheets.
  • Process general administration functions
  • Participate in weekly update meetings with COO


What are we looking for?

  • Minimum 2 years previous experience in similar role
  • Working knowledge of the following programmes is an advantage; TRAX, Sage and Wiz
  • Advanced knowledge of MS office
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Good organizational and time management abilities
  • Strong decision-making skills and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Trustworthy, respectful, honest and flexible
